this morning we had the lovely 90 year old lydia and her younger friend, 68 year old elizabeth, from the bethesda retirement center in chicago on the show. they've started a "bikeless biker gang". i told them to post any pictures from their adventures in biker bars. check the link out at...

so i'm hanging out in newark, nj, checking out a breaking ben show. a friend got me into the area where the soundboard can be found. standing four feet from me the whole show was the one and only BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN!!!! he was hanging out with his son, who knew almost every word to every song ...and yes, i walked over and shook the hand of THE BOSS near the end of the show.

so today is ash wednesday and michelle's priest refused to open the church at 4am for her to get the ashes on her forehead before work. i figured i'd help with the only thing we had available... coffee grounds. she gave up soda btw. i can't wait to drink some in front of her.

hey!! looks like i'm the one who gets to drive the pace car at the daytona 500 this sunday.

a couple of weeks ago i made it to a taping of a cool show that's on VH1 classic. the show is called "that metal show". three hosts have fun talking about music and interview guests. the taping i saw had dave mustaine from megadeth. the episode airs this saturday night. look for me in the audience, they had the cameras on us a LOT!!
