our friend "cake" renee(as i call her) brought me a little something to commemorate my moving to nepa 6 years ago. this monkey head with headphones on is the heaviest cake i've ever lifted.

a couple of funny comedians stopped in this morning. steven kent mcfarlin, aka "spanky", and elaine williams made us laugh a lot! youtube them, you'll be glad you did.

my friend tyler came in to show us his new skills on guitar. we've had him in every year for the swb yankees home opener to play some baseball music for us.

he even showed michelle a note or two...



she put the guitar on backwards at first(i'm not even making that part up), and eventually slayed us with a lick or two.



also stopping by the show was sarah and tyler from the marywood aviators club. the 5th annual aviation exploration day is happening this saturday at the wbs airport in avoca from 11a-4pm. i'll be there when it opens, so get there early! it's free to get in. a raffle will help fund angel flight.
